1. Introduction and controller
The protection of your personal data is a particular concern to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2003).
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is Hellpower Energy GmbH & Co KG, Friedrich-Wilhelm-Raiffeisenplatz 5, 3464 Hausleiten, Austria.
2. Categories of data processed
In the course of our business activities, we process the following categories of personal data:
- Name and address
- Contact details (telephone number, email address)
- Bank details (upon conclusion of a contract)
- VAT ID (for business customers)
- Order data and contract information
- Service enquiries and support correspondence
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system
Legal bases: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent), lit. b (performance of a contract) and lit. c GDPR (legal obligation).
3. Storage period
We store data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by statutory retention periods:
- Contact form enquiries: 6 months from completion of the process
- Contract data (tax law): 7 years pursuant to § 132 BAO (Austrian Federal Fiscal Code)
- Contract data (product liability): up to 10 years pursuant to the Product Liability Act
After the periods expire, data is deleted as a matter of routine unless it is needed for the assertion of legal claims.
4. Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse user behaviour.
IP addresses are anonymised before transmission by means of the activated IP anonymisation (IP masking). The following is recorded: page views, first visits, sessions, session duration, country of origin as well as device category and browser.
Processing takes place on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
5. YouTube and Google Maps
This website may contain embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps maps, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When these contents are loaded, data – including your IP address and device information – is transmitted to Google servers, which may also be located in the USA. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
