Georg Kramp GmbH – ROBOT-40
Since 2013, Hellpower has enjoyed a close partnership with Georg Kramp GmbH – a heavy-duty logistics specialist that carries out special relocations and large industrial transports of up to 40 tonnes worldwide. It began with a personal recommendation, at exactly the moment when the prototype of what would become the ROBOT-40 was being developed there.
Kramp was working on an autonomous transport system designed to move heavy machinery cable-free, agile and safe. No battery solution met these requirements – lead was too big, too heavy or too weak. They were among the first to rely on lithium in such a special-purpose vehicle.
Hellpower developed two custom lithium batteries with a purpose-built enclosure. To this day, no standard battery fits the vehicle – space and power are so specific that the solution remains unique.
Worldwide – from Japan through Europe to the USA – the ROBOT-40 is used wherever large machines have to be moved under tight or sensitive conditions. Cable-free, self-sufficient operation, the highest reliability and a genuine technological edge.
With Hellpower we finally found a partner who not only supplies batteries but truly understood our challenge. Our application was too specific for standard solutions – and Hellpower developed a solution that fits exactly. This was not a supplier relationship – it was a real development partnership.
